94 Mustang Project

Thanks guys. Saving money right now motor plates and the headers are next on the list. then I start to save cash for painting supplies think I'll turn the other half of my garage into a paint booth ;)

You guys will have to see the car in person sometime!

got out in the garage a bit finished rolling the rear fender lips. snapped a few pics with my cell phone so they arent the greatest.

Front hubs are taken off the spindles and I knocked out the wheel studs to make room for some longer ones. Also did a little testing with the front brake calipers I have to cut them a bit to get my rims to fit. I could just run a bigger wheel spacer but I really like the way the front tires look tucked in. So I'll take them in to work and cut a bit of material off them if they still don't fit I'll get a slightly bigger spacer.

Decided to check out the wheel hub assemblies didn't look like they had any damage so I repacked it and put it back together.

Still on the hunt for some 99 mustang brakes if anyone has any :D V6 will work just fine. need the caliper, caliper mounting bracket and brake lines. :D

Ok well thanks to SVT32VDOHC for the hookup on the 99 Mustang brackets and calipers. I got them mounted up today. Still have to do the brake lines and wait for my new rotors but everything bolts up and fits. I pressed in my longer 3" studs as well.

Thanks SVT32DOHC for the hookup on the brackets and caliper cores. Traded in the cores and got some new rebuilt ones. Sand blasted and painted the caliper brackets they look better then new :D

You can see the little bit of grinding I had to do on my 94 spindles in this pic.

99 brake calipers mounted up. I still have to put on the new brake lines and I think I'll polish up the calipers a bit. All together with the new calipers, brake lines, rotors, pads, and caliper brackets I got $270 into the front brakes think I took about 10lbs off the front end and have a much better set of binders up front. Beats spending $600-700 on an aftermarket set. Still waiting on my rotors and pads then i can make sure everything fits with the rims on.

Nice job so far!! You're welcome for the hookup, I'm glad I came through for you. Keep it, you'll love those brakes. Make sure you bleed from the master as well as the calipers. I never have much of a pedal until I bleed the master.

I was doing my brakes around midnight two weeks ago. I had no pedal and was pist. You don't think well, that late, and then I rembered to bleed the master. After that the pedal was good, but I think I should rebleed them at the calipers again.

So far 3rd week of december is looking good to get my motorplates and headers done. Waiting on a few parts to come in then its off to TeamZ.
Still have to narrow down what shop is going to do the work on my engine block. I've narrowed down a few but always looking for more leads on good local shops!

Engine semi assembled sitting on the engine cradle waiting to goto TeamZ in the morning. Still have to put the heads on it but figured its a bit easier to lift with em off.

I'll get pics when the car comes back after getting the motorplates and headers finished.

Thanks :D

Well anyone that went to the TeamZ christmas party saw the car up on the hoist that was my pile :D Hopefully going to change the rims up here in another couple weeks. They won't go on the car till i get it back from TeamZ though. I really want to get the roll cage redone but it will have to wait. Going to work on getting my garage setup to paint in after the car gets back so I can hopefully repaint it this spring.

Small update picked up my trans today. Turbo 400 with a griner T-brake, hardened input shaft, JW ultra Bell. :D brand new unused. Car should be back from Team Z in 3-4 weeks. Might swing by during the week to sneak a few photos.
