94 Mustang Project

Rear end is all painted now came out halfway decent for brushing it on. It's not perfect but it will at least stop it from becoming a rusty mess.

Axles are on their way to Strange to get drilled for 5/8 studs.
Intake for my Clevor is on its way should be here the 12th!.

Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to mount my fuel cell. Don't really want to cut out the entire spare tire well but looking like thats how I'm going to have to do it.

I never bother with trying to work around the tire well, just cut her out lol

looking good, I cant wait to get my team z offset uppers too !

Well yesterday I painted under the car with chassis saver for now I just did where the suspension bolts up.( want to get the car up a bit higher to do the underside and I have to cut up the tire well a bit when I install my fuel cell) Today I got the rear end bolted back up. I need to pick up a few more things before I put the wheels back on. One of them being a BFH. I also need to find an 11/16 reamer as well my studs are a bit snug on my pro stars.

Valuable lesson learned don't jack up the car with the ARB attached or at least have the jam nuts on the arb snug. I bent the 2 lower Eye Bolts. Have to swing by TeamZ and get 2 more from him on friday.

Out with the old! Started the front suspension today. Got all the old shit ripped out. Have to install my new TeamZ K frame with tie down points. Strange 10way front struts and coil over kit. 170-12 Front springs and TeamZ caster camber plates. Still have to pull the damn spindle hubs off to put longer studs in it. But I'm hoping to get most of the new stuff bolted up Tomorrow. And I'll probably clean and scuff the under body from the firewall to the rear suspension to get it ready for paint.

Picked up a hood yesterday. Have to get 2 holes filled in and get it mounted with dzus fastners. Probably have to fab up my own brackets for the front. But for $180 it looks pretty good on the car looks tough. I'll get some better pictures once I get the car back rolling. Front suspension is still all off the car.

Now I just need to find someone to paint the hood and possibly my cobra front bumper for me ;).

yea I was looking at it awhile ago and saw he had it up for $180 and picked it up. Pretty decent hood should look good when its all painted.

Just got under the car and cleaned from the rear suspension to the firewall. So it will be ready for paint tomorrow. Wanted to take a few pics so if for some reason I want to sell the car people won't think I just painted over a bunch of rust.

Cleaning under a car upside down really kind of sucks painting it should be more fun :(

Little before cleaning pic. I'll post a few more pics once its all painted.

Just put the final coat on the underside. painting upside down sucks glad I'm done for a little bit. At least until I mount the fuel cell so I can paint the little section around the spare tire well.

Starting bolting up the new suspension today should be back on the ground tomorrow. Finally sold my old K frame and A arms so I was able to pick up my new 1" shorter A arms from teamZ.
Car is all TeamZ now... Why does Dave have to make such nice shit!

My chiseled performance custom fuel cell should be here tomorrow as well. Anyone ever needing a fuel cell that place is great. $215 shipped to my door made to my exact dimensions with whatever size an fittings I wanted. Really can't beat that place.

Car is back on the ground rolling :D Didn't realize I had to drill out my spindle mounts for the bump steer kit had to pull it back apart this morning and luckily I work in a machine shop so I was able to fly upto work and drill out the holes for my teamZ bump steer kit. I think I have to modify my bump steer kit still due to the 1 " shorter A arms but I can do that later. I really like the way the new a arms look though.

Figured I'd bump this a bit maybe motivate me to get out in the garage. Only thing I've done is modify the bumpsteer kit. I had to shorten one of the bolts .300 and I had to take off about .600 off of the center section tires are perfectly straight now and should have enough adjustment left to give me a proper alignment. The 1" shorter A arms look much better though I am very glad Dave at TeamZ talked me into them.

Need to get out into the garage and fit the carpet and buy some dry ice to remove all the sound deadening. Think i'll start to get out there before work a few hours each day. Just can't spend any money on the car right now :( bumming me out a bit when 2 months ago I was buying parts left and right. Maybe grab a scale and see how much more weight I can get out of this pig.

Your car is looking really sweet. I am building almost the same car with all the same parts. If I knew how to post pictures on here, I would start a thread with my project. Doing it exactly the same way you are too. Keep at it. It's going to be a sweet ride for sure!

hmm work is picking up should be back to buying parts again soon. :D

Pulled it out of the garage yesterday really kind of got me motivated again. Can't wait to get this car running it's looking pretty badass.
