hey guys, i have a 94 mustang gt with cobra hood, front and rear bumpers, all emblems. its a 5 speed, with a 347 forged rotating assy. edelbrock heads, dynoed at 400 horse. car is in excellent condition, 100k miles. anyone able to give me a rough estimate on how much this car is worth? i've got prolly 20k in it, i know i will never get it back, but is it close to 10k?

thanks, nick

Hard to say. A cars only worth what someone is willing to pay. I'd be surprised if you got 10k. Just make sure you have all receipts and documentation of the build. That usually helps with the sale of a modified vehicle.

I think you will be very hard pressed to get close to 10k for an sn95 GT with mods....and probably a stock block 347.

pics would help. If it is SUPER clean and pristine, it might get 10K but that is wishful. From the sounds of it, more like 8k or so

The difference in your cars value between "7 - 8K" and "$10,000" can be
how well you do your sale ad & photos - no joke.

I agree you also need multiple ads and again, present your car at its best.
Remember, you can always go down on your price, but pretty hard to go
up!

It is ok to start on the higher end of the value scale, then adjust as needed.
10k in not outrageous, just top of the scale - and some cars do indeed sell
there.

I would build a great ad, take some killer photos & list her for $9,850. & go
from there. Be prepared to lower the price - not eager.
