As the title says I have a Self built Tuning Cable Based on the MAX232 chip for 94 and 95 LT1 Camaros and Firebirds. I no longer have a use for it so I am selling it to someone who might get some use from it.
Included are the following.
-Self Built Tuning cable that interfaces car's PCM to RS-232 serial
-PCMCIA RS-232 Card for use in any laptop that has an available PCMCIA Slot. (I don't have driver disk but i don't think you need one for XP) This cable will NOT work with the USB adapters.
- Full install of Tuner CAT tuning software with a serial key.
-PCM Definition file EE for use with 94 and 95 LT-1 F-bodies. I think this definition file works for some other 94-95s but I am unsure.
-I will include FREESCAN from andy whittaker, it is a great program that shows a bunch of variables on screen to monitor the vehicle as its running.
Everything worked last time i used it and it has since been sitting in my basement. The cable does NOT use a molded ALDL plug because 94 and 95 had different plugs so i tinned the end of the data wire and you just plug it into the data pin on the ALDL. I never had any issues doing this. I have probably tuned around 20-30 LT-1 cars over the years and only lost one PCM so this setup had a very good track record.
$ 100.00
PM if Interested.
Thanks,
T.C.
