just purched a Notch Mustang with a 412 in Rodeck pretty much has all the good stuff in it fogger 18*heads dry sump MSD digital 7 Kooks stainles headers glide chute Edlebrock nos controller crank trigger 9 in. I can go on and on but you get the pic.The last owner said it ran 8:20s but that remains to be seen.What I plan to do is race this car keep Motown informed on my progress and hope the members make suggestions on improvements.Now here's the fly in the ointment.I need 2 people a crew chief and a pit helper.I can't afford to pay anything so it would have to be for the love of the sport.If all works out I'll post a complete list of everything in the car and also some pics.which I'll update from time to time.Would also appreciate some feed back if you would be intrested or if you think I'm just blowing smoke.Thanks and good luck with your own projects.
 
3 post in 3 years and you are asking for FREE help? Good luck! Many people here have no problem helping active members but it appears you are looking for free labor. As far as the crew chief position I doubt anyone is jumping to take on the responsibility of that position for free. If something goes wrong is it that said persons fault? It sounds like you bought a car built by someone who worked long and hard and are now looking for free help to maintain it because you cant.
 
I've heard hooking up a slow steady stream of sand into your intake port will port and polish your heads... I will try that if you are looking to get into the 7.xx's with it.
 
so you have enough cash to buy a car set up to run mid 8's out the box, but you cant afford to even give 2 guys 200 each even to just tag along the day when you go to the track with you to get ur shit ready? damn man, you know ur gonna blow 2-300 before your even off the trailer right? good luck owning a money pit....sounds like you bit off more then you could chew.
