well i have 77 pro m 24# injectors tfs heads comp xe264 cobra intake and it hunts fuel pressure is at 42 with vac line off and tps is .98 at idle help anyone else have this problem oh its a 5 speed and idle is at 875
tps is supposed to be just under a volt so that looks good. as far as i understand it you need to set fuel pressure and ignition timing at idle to achieve the greatest possible manifold vacuum. don't take my word for it, most people on this board are way smarter than i am....
i couldn't get mine to idle correctly for a while either. it would hunt and then die. i have ported E7 heads and a motorsport high lift cam. i ended up having to increase the amount of air bypassing the throttle at idle by modifying the passages where the IAC valve mounts. or you can buy a small plate that fits between the TB and IAC which allows you to adjust the amount of bypass. AFAIK most 302s running factory electronics with a cam and/or induction mods require this.
