93 gt interior light issue

I believe I have a bad rheostat, everything that would be variably controlled by it isnt lighting up. cluster hvac controls over head light ect.

anyone had this issue ?

fuses and bulbs are all intact

you can jump the terminals at the rheostat and see if everything lights up

didnt have a haynes on hand so i didnt take a crack at it

anyone have a wiring diagram for the interior harness of a 93gt ?

I would put money on the dimmer switch:gr_grin: had that happen in the 92 i had

see if you have power at the #13 5a fuse with the headlights on, it is for the dimmed lights

if no

at the rheostat, put power to the light blue w/ red tracer wire, everything should light up


now jump the two wires at the rheostat, the lt blue/red and the other wire, it is either brown, or orange w/black tracer, it should have power with the parklight and headlights on, if the lights are full brightness now, replace the rheostat
