92 Mustang Coupe Notchback

Yeah...that is the car. I was in Kentucky for business last week and looked at in on the way down. I thought about it all week and bought it friday on the way home. I should have left and walked away, as I never got to drive it.....he had it strapped down to a trailer....and I could see a small oil leek on the trailer....he said it was nothing big and thought it was a rear main seal or something minor and easy.....seemed like a very honest older gentlemen. He showed me his whole place....race car...mach1 and lighting in the pole barn...wifes california special mustang...jr dragster...etc. Didnt think I would get f*#$ed ....live and learn. I paid him for the car....paid him to deliver it.....then had to pay for the tow...detail, etc.

Devin detailing car????

Joe is my friend who own's Speedy's Detail.....the shop is in Marysville and is in the RV and Trailer sales and service......if anyone wants to see the car he is there almost all day.....9-5.....go in back and ask for Joe.

Also....I will try and post more pics tomorrow. I do have someone coming to look at it tomorrow night. The trans should be a factory AOD.

I know who you're referring to. Him, and is brother are pretty good guys. I'm really surprised that this played out so badly for you.

He seemed like a really nice guy, we walked around his pole barn and checked out all his other rides, we sat and bullshitted for along time.....maybe he didnt know about it.....he seemed upset about it when I called him....he said he had almost $7000 into it. However...after posting this I have heard from a few guys who say he sells cars out of his house on a regular basis. Not sure on this one.....he did own it for awhile...the title shows he bought it 12/08/2008. Either way....I thought I would get more than 4 miles out of it...lol

I don't know if he sells multiple cars out of his house on a regular basis but the Notch was for sale in his front yard for quite sometime honestly probably since 2010. I have also seen all of his cars, most of them are all mint. The times I have talked to him he seemed like a very nice older gentleman. Best of luck.

U got pics of the Calypso Roller???

His race car was a really really nice 57 Bel Air with a huge big block and spray.

I guess what I am going to do is pull the brand new motor out of my LX hatch and drop it in the coupe.......sell the calypso hatch as a roller....and sell the coupe with a brand new stock 5.0 motor in it.

Price for the calypso roller is $1700

Price for the coupe with the brand new motor and chrome ponies instead of the welds....$5900
