So I was near certain I already made a project log for this truck, but I can't find it. So here goes another shot.
Story starts a few years ago when I was working at O'Reillys in Jackson. A coworker who I had became friends with saw my 92 Sonoma that I beat the shit out of regularly mentioned he had a 91 Sonoma that he lost interest in. He bought it new in 1990 with 12 miles on the clock. He used it as his show truck and pretty much just lowered it and put an asinine stereo in it. When his son destroyed the gas tank via man hole cover he tore the truck apart to bring it up to modern day standards. So after months of talking about this truck I finally bought it only having seen pictures. The truck was originally fitted with a 2.5 four banger, 5 speed manual trans, and all manual options included manual steering. When I bought the truck it only had 72k miles. But sadly less than ideal storage conditions have hindered the true beauty of the truck. Now after I bought it I didn't have the time or garage to work on the truck, so it was stored out in a field for another couple years. Fast forward to about a couple months ago, I got moved into a place with a garage, so the truck came home for the much needed work. Enough typing, on with pictures!!!!
