'91 Eagle Talon I found Damn Rust

Motown's very own village idiot!
Bought the car used from a friend and fellow racer.
Currently has 67K on the OD, slowly been bringing it up to my standards during the past few years. Was a drag car I'm making it a tolerable street car, easier said than done I must admit.
Had a issue with the license plate bracket so had a little time to investigate this issue, all I can say is DAMN that's a rusty POS. So I replaced it with a little TLC.

Someone serious rust, shit is history;




A little fabing/powder coating and BAM a replacement:


Now the good news, that's the only rust I have found on this little hot rod.:pimp:

Rust free examples of 1G's are getting hard to find.

There is nothing better than 700 plus AWHP from the 2G still with power steering, A/C, cruise control and getting 27 MPG from a 20 year old car that was rated at 210 AWHP.

Perhaps a late model EVO can do better, that i don't know.
