91 Camaro rally Sport

If you go check it out, bring starting fluid. If it doesn't start, spray the fluid in and try. If it is able to stay running by continuously spraying in starting fluid then it may not be getting fuel.

Runs gets, hot then shuts off. Most likely it is ignition module trouble. You could test the fuel pump for a bad winding with a amp probe and scope.I see this on older Gm's all the time. That and the pickup in the distributor often goes bad.

fuel pressure guage could easily rule out a pump.

It could also be a bad fuel pump relay or the oil sender switch might also be bad. A few minutes with some basic diag tools could sort it out.

It is a nice looking car too. I really need to make some money.

Run, get hot and stall.....Sounds like ignition module to me......Pretty commin.

It didn't say if it was stalling when it got hot. It said that the car starts then stalls after a minute. Then some time does not stall at all. So I don't think it is an ignition.

Put a fuel pressure guage on it and a spark tester. I bet its the module. Very typical symptoms of a bad 7 pin HEI module.

Yup, when my Camaro was still a 305 it went through a couple modules.

I'm still betting it's the fuel pump. Put a gauge on it.
