9 second stock bottom end ls2

it always cracks me up listening to people knock some ones ride when there ride is slower ...lol

Really? Trunk was pointing out and i agree that an egg shell car thats gutted, mini tubbed, with bars and what looks to be (2) power adders isnt very impressive. YES LSX motors are sweet but with the givin combo listed above, one would think the car would move out a little better. So i drive a 11 second cobra, doesnt mean i dont know what other combos should run? Call it what you want, but the car should be faster with the list of mods plus the odvious ones shown on the car.

ported 243s and a ms3 on a 125 hit i already explain the fmic..car had a buick 3.8 he just never took the intercooler off.

and this car was literally put together in under 100 days..from pulling the buick motor out to running the car at the track.

so tell me boy genious what SHOULD the car run. since its only been twice.

Faster than what that roach just went.

Noyzee just went 9.39 @ 142 on a STOCK internal LS1. Stock UNTOUCHED 243 castings, cam only. That was at 640 bottle pressure at the end of the run and 10.0 A/F through the traps.

Its funny, because Noyzees setup is alot more "Street friendly" than that tin can. Its almost 3300lbs with him in it. THAT is impressive.

100 days to put that together? God damn, it only takes two days MAX to assemble a whole long block. Did it take 98 more days to bolt an aftermarket K-member on and a plug-n-play wiring harness? With a car that looks like that it should be in the low 9's or better, quit teasing it and give it some bigger jets. ;) OR pull off the sissy bars and he wont get as much shit.

well that explains alot then.

so in your professional opinion whats it suppose to run lol

I would say 40's or even a 30 with as light as it is.

If my car was a mini tubbed beer can like that, I'd be lapping him. Mine has gone faster, just not quicker at a lot more weight. I didn't say the car was junk, just not impressive since it's sooo light.

Big deal, this club built a car for Pinks that when almost that quick, weighed A LOT more in the same time. We started with a STOCK T-bird, not a mini tubbed RX7.

Oh and if you're going to "try" and insult someones intelligence, first learn how to spell "genius"

That guys car IS impressive.

Took 100 days to slap that car together? The thought of taking the useless FMIC that was there only to catch bugs never crossed anyones mind? LOL Come on quit getting your panties all up tight. Id expect that car to be mid to low 9's if you'd like to know my opinion. Before you try to act like Bill Nye the science guy learn to spell. "genius"

stock rx7 K stock harness, cant do much working 6-7 days a week lol and clearly noyzees car is much more dialed in then the rx7.

Most of us aren't serious, just giving you shit. All of the quicker street cars on here run deep in the 8's and 9's. So something "race carish" like that is expected to run really well, especially for the curb weight. I understand you on working 6-7 days a week and working on the car, its shitty. When your friend gets it worked out it should be in the low low 9's with the curb weight, if not better.

Clearly. I would have spent the 10 minutes it took, out of that 100 days, to pull the cooler off of it. I would also say that car should go mid to bottom 9s but looks like it should go 8.20s.

I live over an hour away from milan. If you knew anything about my car you'd know that it is a bone STOCK 1999 cobra with an 03-04 eaton on it. Stock T-45 bullshit trans, 28 spline IRS and 3:27 gears. Throw a sticky tire and a sticky track and its a good recipe to break something. Id say an 11 second pass wasnt to bad. Not to mention stone chips and putting the miles on my car. I own a truck and a trailer why not use it.
