So I go to watch the Lions. First Robert DeNiro gives a tiny speech on behalf of the NFL. Then they cut to playing taps at the crash site in Pennsylvania. Then in the most tasteless part of it, they had the crowd noise in the stadium start cheering while they were still showing the Pennsylvania crash site! Awesome (not).
Then to top it all off, at one point in the game, one of the announcers said that the NFL was assisting the nation through its grieving process. WTF was that? Shut up and play football already.
