I would like to say one thing about the continuation of all this 911 remembrance..........enough already.This perpetual ramming down our necks of what happened on 9-11-01 is becoming a joke.We all know what happened on 9-11, i dont need some bleeding heart media joker to continually verify that we got hit in a big way.My God people everytime we put another program on TV about what happened that day or put up another memorial it just gives our enemies one more reason think that we're weak and will always feel sorry for our selves. It's been ten years, and all you see over and over are pictures of what happened,i already seen this damm it your not showing me anything new!
If our grand parents sat around and pissed and moaned about how bad they got hit in 41 we'd all be speaking ( or typing )german or japanese at this very moment.Instead they went out kicked ass and got a job done that had to be done.It's time to stop giving the people that were responsible for this anymore satisfaction by showing their work over and over on TV. A short prayer on 9-11 and THATS IT.Get back to work building and getting stronger,not wimpering and feeling sorry for ourselves because everytime THEY see that,THEY WIN.
 
Too late, we've lost all our rights and privacy, got stuck in this recession, started two pointless wars and lost countless lives.
 
I'm flying on 9/11 and am not looking forward to it.

I agree if you don't like it change the channel.

I don't think by commemorating the worst terror attack this country has ever seen and remembering those who lost their life's anyone is whimpering or feeling sorry for themselves.

9/11 will always be a part of our history that is remembered. Great you were around and remember what happened and don't care. Others do and some people were too young to know what was going on. I am sure the people who lost loved ones in the attacks would appreciate your attitude.
 
Will I be watching all the specials? Nope. But I also understand why some do. As mentioned, we are allowed to change the channel. Of course I'll be at BW3 watching the Lions game...

Because you think your plane will be hijacked? Seriously don't be one of those people. Flying is still the safest form of transportation. Your more Likely to get killed driving to the airport
 
good luck hijacking a plane in the united states.. chances are everyone on that plane would beat the life out of a terrorist

My guess would be that the security checkpoints at the airports will be backed up for a mile. Don't want them to miss a tweezer or half full water bottle...

I've had an American flag on taped to my computer monitor since the 12th. Don't remember who brought them in, but it's my daily reminder of 9/11. I didn't have any family or friends killed, but it doesn't matter. I still get choked up when I watch things on it, but I don't want to forget. Those people deserve us not to forget.
 
I heard a few good bits on the radio, one being they pulled 20 people alive from the wreckage of the building. One of the people was on the 60th floor! WTF!
