89 year old's 540,000 Mercury Comet

What a neat old lady. Seems like a go getter. However.









I have a very hard time beliving that engine hasn't had a rebuild. Might be the original motor but I'd bet its had at least 1 overhaul by now.

That lady is cool! My dad sent me that link. She is smart too getting all the lifetime warranty parts. Some of those companies have got to hate a customer like that! 16 batteries, 6 mufflers, 4 sets of shocks (I can't remember if that was the right #). But you get my point. But she is one cool old lady. Even agrees with testing yearly for older people. That was funny to hear. :lol:

i had an 89 grand prix with well over 330k miles(thats when the speedo quite working) and i beat the piss out of it... the only things i ever replaced on the motor was the alternator and water pump... it never leaked one drop of oil and it didnt burn any either
