did v8 swap, everything is plugged is sensor wise, a9m comp. when i crank the engine over it tries to start, i get a little rumble and then nothing. every time i turn the key its like this. tries to start but never quite gets there. bashing my head against the wall as to what the problem could be. maybe tfi module? any help is appreciated, thanks guys

yes, getting spark, getting fuel to the rail, i can hear the injectors pulsing, i just replaced the eec relay and got everything working. yes there is a v8 mass air harness swapped as well.

still dead. its trying so hard to start, ive rechecked the timing and its all good. rechecked all sensors and they are all plugged in, cleaned maf and still nothing

timing is set straight straight, tdc and number 1 on the cap, it wont run long enough to even get a light on it, literally runs for 1 to 2 secs and thats it

I would advance the timing, grab the distributor and turn it clockwise some. It probably wont start up with no advance in it. It does not have to start to check the timing, you can check it while it is cranking.

no i have a v8 coil off my old mustang that i swapped, i thought that was the problem at first. im gonna check the timing tomorrow and see where it is exactly at. ill update this in the morning. thank you guys for you help so far!!! +1 given to all
