Ok, honesty time for MM users - the front coil springs are both cracked, thats what the funny noise is. I actually think the struts are ok, but I'm playing dumb and trying to get rid of the thing. The brakes are SHOT. The calipers themselves are fine, the rotors are kinda rusty from sitting for 2 years, and the pads are worn through. I put a brand new battery in it the other day and changed the oil and spark plugs, and was about to tackle the brakes but I discovered the cracked springs and said fuck it. I bought the tires 2 years ago, put MAYBE 20 miles on them, and then got tired of fooling with the thing. Same with the engine- I did the plugs, wires, cap and rotor along with the water pump, they have maybe 20 or 30 miles on them but the car sat outside for 2 years and they got kidna dusty. The car has a SWEET rustoleum spray job, I actually think thats what kept the car from rotting away. The car fires right up, and runs pretty good. Aside from the brakes and suspension I wouldn't have a problem driving it on a regular basis. You need a good sense of humor to appreciate the car, there are some more pictures at www.thereddragon.s5.com Any questions hit me up, 248-470-7797, $300 / OBO for motown members.
