88 Mazda RX-7 with 351Windsor V8 swap $1700
If anyone on here is interested I'm letting go of my 88 Rex . Its a N/A model with sunroof and auto adjusting supension and rear wiper.
It has the turbo rearend and 4.11 gears, a 1985 Ford 351 windsor V-8 swapped in backed by a C-4 tranny (that has been modified with a reverse manual valvebody, shift kit and hurst ratchet shifter). Engine also has:
BBK shorty headers to a 3" exhaust and an Apex'i muffler $400
Edelbrock RPM intake manifold $200
Dual core radiator $50
Aftermarket trans cooler mounted up front $60
Electric fans $40
Holley electric fuel pump $100
600cfm Holley four barrel carb with electric choke. $250
Moroso battery box (mounted in hatch area) $65
GM 2 wire alternator
Pro comp HEI distirbutor $95
Hurst ratchet drag race shifter $200
It has the grannys swap kit and driveshaft which is around $7-800 by iteself. Car ran great until 2 weeks ago it developed a knock, not sure if its coming from the head or block. I think the oil pump may be bad? (engine only has around 85k miles on it), so it'll either need a rebuild or just drop in another 351 or a 302 (can get them on craigslist for $500 or less all day). This engine has a fresh double roller timing chain set that can go onto the new engine as well. still starts up as is.
Also has 18" wheels with new tires and fiberglass widebody front fenders. Needs paint, but body is in great shape, no rust. You could easily part the car out for more than I'm asking and wouldn't take more than a Saturday to swap a new motor into it. PM me or call me if interested or for more details. 248 217 9864

I'd really like to keep the car but wer'e buying a house and I could use the money to help with our downpayment, closing costs , etc.
