why not go fiberglass hood and trunk lid def. go with the glass doors

It costs more money then cutting the stock stuff, and I've gotten pretty close to the same weight anyways. Also I want the car to appear as stock as possible so it won't be quite so obvious what it is from first appearances. I am actually looking to use convertible doors and gut them since it will have NASCAR style door bars. They shouldn't be too heavy as there won't be much metal left besides the outside skin.

I'm only guessing though. :lol:

I'm not to keen on the whole rule book thing.

I'm not keen on rule books either, I'm just building it the way I want to and will worry about whether or not it fits in a class later. It will most likely end up in NASA AIX (American Iron Extreme), which I will probably get my ass kicked in both because I don't have enough driving experience and some of those guys are running some serious horsepower and I want to stay on pump gas for the time being.
