87-93 mustang drive shaft

Is driveshaft length on 87-93 Mustangs all the same, manual or auto?
I am installing a 4R70 in my 89, and I am wondering if the stock driveshaft will be ok or if it will need to be shortened? I can imagine it wont be much, and probably only sure answer is a test fit to find out....
I'll also be using the AOD tailhousing on the 4R if that makes much difference...
 
Between manual and auto they are the same. I have heard that you need to shorten it an inch with the 4r70. I'm not sure if that was with the aod tailshaft or not. So it will either fit or it will need to be shortened an inch. I've been thinking about doing the same swap
