86 Mustang seatbelt

Rear seatbelt (lap belt) is locked up on my 86 Mustang and the kids can't ride in it.

Fixable? Any ideas?

Shoulder belts.. Im pretty sure mine didnt have shoulder belts, it has laps in the rear.

somebody swaped it then cause 90-93 had shoulder

(gray) shows 1 in stock. ford catalog shows assembly with both male/female pieces. i think they will ship with a cc#. no idea what they will want. the last ford pricing was $70.30 lh/ $52.98 rh. dealer cost, but went obsolete years ago. could be a supply/demand situation. lol. good luck. hope this helps.

if you have an old 5 point harness use the two from the lap, it works plus the kid thinks he/she is cool because they have the same belt as you now, lol

I"m sure it's just gunked or froze up. take it out and check on it. The "inertia" setup is probably locked
