Im done kidding myself with this car, Ive had my fun with it as my DD for the past two years. Its been a blast but its time i sell it and get something more practical especially since the winter is coming.

Specs:
1986 GT 5.0 5 speed
124xxx miles on body
rebuilt engine around 45xxx miles ago (i have a huge folder of reciepts to go with it)

New
radiator 10-08
headlights (yesterday...fixed metal ring bracket holding in hi-beam, as seen broken in pictures) 10-09
plugs and wires 7-09
Flowmasters 8-09 (brand new just spent $300 on them they sound great)
Window tint 12-08 (5% on rear hatch and quarter windows, 20% on fronts)
Replaced belt 8-09
Tokico blue shocks in rear 06-09
Monroe struts in front 07-09

Mods:
Bored out to a 306ci
shorter summit headers
short throw shifter
cold air intake
Gt-40p heads
ported & polished intake
KB alluminum pistons
Lowered 1.5 inches eibach lowering kit
MAF conversion

Oil changed regularly, gunna do a fresh one this week hopefully. The engine is mildly modded, with a gear put in it and some other add ons it could really be something but I just don't have the income to build it how i'd like to.

The bad:
there is only one problem with this car that needs to be taken care of, the rest is work that is done with the building/resto of it.
The driver side floorboard rusted at the pinch weld on the frame right under the back right corner of the driver seat. I've been driving it like this for a couple of months (maybe longer thats when i first noticed it). it hasnt gotten much worse since ive seen it but its not really something you want to wait on getting done. and frankly, i dont have the time, resources or money to get it done. I would imagine someone on this board does.

Other things i planned on fixing:
front clip is a little banged up from a tralier backing into my front end last winter. one crack on top and some scratches

New tires

Surface rust in spots around the car, wheel wells, rear quarters behind wheels, bubbles here and there on door and hatch.

THIS BODY IS NOT PERFECT but the engine runs strong and has a lot of potential.. I personally would keep it, fix the body work and either continue building it in the future or sell it in the spring but i just dont have the money or anywhere to put it this winter.

Please someone here give this car a good home it has potential to be a great track car it puts stock 5.0's in the dust, never got the chance to make it out to Milan this season but i would imagine its a 13 second car and thats with me driving lol

Im looking to get somewhere around $3,250 for it. Gunna post it on CL for $3,500 but will give it to any MM member for 3 grand.

thanks, i think i did pretty well for what it was worth too. if i woulda kept it any longer it only woulda done down in value so it was sad to see it go but it had to happen. On to a winter beater and a motorcycle for fun haha
