85' 350 v8 blazer for sale ---$2200

1985 s10 blazer, good project car. PRICE REDUCED again $2200
497706_2_full.jpg

The goods-

350 w/ about 25k miles on rebuild, a couple mods. Hung even with a high 13 second car when the plugs/wires were almost dead and carb was off.
Typical goodies- holley 650 double pumper, K&N, etc., good starter (powermaster 200ft-lb)

Sanderson headers to 2in duals, dynomax bullets dump before rear axle

Full MSD seutp- 6AL box, blaster SS coil, super conductor wires, MSD distrbutor top end

Fuel system is will deliver up to ~650hp.

Rebuilt th350, feels very firm

3.73 rear w/ eaton g80 autolocker

dropped 3 inches on weld prostars, 275 wide out back (new rear tires and front/back brakes last year)

Cleaned up body. Everything mostly shaved but handles.

Small cowl hood

front fenders are perfect, most of body is strait minus one spot (listed below)
... was repainted around 2000.

Rear side/rear window tinted

front/back seats are in nice condition, no huge tears you normally see.

few autometer gauges

frame has only slight surface rust

The bad-

Definately not for someone looking to buy a done car to flash around. Perfect project car;

Needs interior. Everything is there, but needs to be refinished.

Needs a few more gages

Speakers should be rewired

Small rust spots on body. Very fixable. Worst part is the back corner panel should be patched.

Swirl marks in clear coat. Mostly non-visible after a wax. Couple small scratches.

Needs ratchet shifter. Stock trans governer shifts @ 4800 WOT. Feels slow if its not manually shifted.

Mufflers need to be welded.

No bumper or grille on it. Have a brand new bumper/syclone grille, needs to be installed. No secrets, frame was never bent (ball hitch smashed in the bumper pretty good)

...Those kind of misc. little things. Nothing crazy to worry about like rod knock or anything, just a good winter or long term project.

$3200 obo -- NOW $2200 IF YOU CAN PICK IT UP SOON

Looks a little better in the pics online, dont get too excited-

Goodluck with the sale. Looks like a great start for a sweet ride for someone. I love first gen S-Series.

Yeah thanks... I was going to do a ton with this but wont have time with cars for a while. Starting some new, major time consuming work.

Same bumper that is in the original pics. Grille was bought as 'syclone grille' but all the GMC ones are the same anyway. Both are new, but uninstalled and unpainted as listed.

$3200 obo is good considering if you already owned an s10, by the time you get a similar engine+ accessories (full msd, headers, mounts, etc), trans, rear, rims .... your already at this price let alone doing extra work, shaving the body, etc

I bought a vehicle for the same price with more motor and less clean. You see how fast you can go cheap with these things like my truck and this one has a better platform to start from. A set of cylinder heads and camshaft on this vehicle, even if it has low compression, puts you in the 11's without question.

Yes 'sir and theres always still room for nitrous... Its $2800 'obo' by the way.

Its not like I just looking to maybe sell it, I have to move this thing and quick. So if you want it dont waste time. I have a few people interested.

Offers? $2600? Thats f'n cheap. All the parts minus the whole body would cost you more than that.

What needs to be done to the interior (is it something along the lines of installing a dash or more along the lines of fixing a headliner)?

Can the vehicle be driven daily in its current condition?

Thanks.

Thats all up to the person looking at it. The dash is installed, but should be re-tweed'd. Door panels are the old looking and not installed, headliner sags (big surprise, humid summers cold winters). Only gages that work at the factory oil/volts and the autometer fuel/temp + the tach, so you can see everything important.

Everything is basically as I described. Bumper/grille needs to be painted/installed, might need a battery might not. I mean you definately could slap it together real quick and start driving it, but as I said its better for someone looking for a project.

I wouldnt expect any miracles, for $2400, I personally would take it as a rolling frame with all these parts, even without the body and still consider it a deal. Easy way out is to just drop an s10 cab on it. Im just trying to get rid of it, I need money to put a down payment with a loan.
