well i dont have any pics yet but ive got my wiring harness all done, sn radiator is installed, the motor will be here friday, i already have the heads.
i used a stock harness i had. its from one of the GT's i/we had. i just looked at a schematic and chopped away what i wasnt going to use. but i kept about 2 inches coming off the fuse block from the circuits i cut out so i can add in other things and have them use the factory fuse block
update!!! finally got the dash all cut and know where to cut the nice dash. theres a nice dash black and grey and center console i can get so im gonna do that, got 99% of my main harness gone and only the necessary circuits will remain. i can easily add more things in as needed. i finally got a motor and just about everything to get it together. i still need my heads machined. i want the old press in studs removed and drilled for 7/16" studs. trans will be a c4 rvmb. heres some pics, more to come soon!!
so there has been a MAJOR change in plans!! completely ditching the sbf setup, going with a iron block 6.0 and 4l80 trans. oh and theres gonna be a turbo in there too. ive got a motor for sale 800 firm. pm for details.
hell yea, i can do the turbo lq4 and make 600 wheel cheaper and easier than doing it with a sbf. i never thought id do it but it just makes sense. now it really will be a street car.
