Haven't had much progress lately. I did buy an adapter for my steering shaft. I figured why spend over $150 on a whole shaft when I can weld on the adapter and end up with the same basic thing for $70. It will work just fine and look better than the stock piece so Im happy with it.

Thanks Joe. One things for sure though, you wont see another one like it. It would still be nice though if it at least runs close to what my stang ran. It should be close. Probably just a tick slower I'm guessing. Oh well I guess. It should still sound ok with 3.5 inch exhaust and bullets. :wink:

This is exactly what i did, and it worked perfect, and i think it looks better than teh flaming river. Good looking car, can't wait to see it done.

I'm trying to be as thrifty as I can to save money for other stuff. I still need a lot of parts so doing things like that helps.

I have exhaust for it already. 3.5 inch with bullets lol! Its overkill but I know it wont be a restriction. Thanks for asking though!
