81 fairmont project

Haven't had much progress lately. I did buy an adapter for my steering shaft. I figured why spend over $150 on a whole shaft when I can weld on the adapter and end up with the same basic thing for $70. It will work just fine and look better than the stock piece so Im happy with it.

I did load the car up yesterday and get it over to Supernotch90's house to start prepping it for paint.

so what if its slow it will still be cool as hell!
Thanks Joe. One things for sure though, you wont see another one like it. It would still be nice though if it at least runs close to what my stang ran. It should be close. Probably just a tick slower I'm guessing. Oh well I guess. It should still sound ok with 3.5 inch exhaust and bullets. :wink:

This is exactly what i did, and it worked perfect, and i think it looks better than teh flaming river. Good looking car, can't wait to see it done.
