8.8 Rear gear Help

I have a 93 mustang and it has a 4.10 which was great last year NA but this year I added a turbo setup. The car is stock weight and is an auto AOD and sees light track use. I was told 3.55 is the way to go but just wanted to get a few more opinions.

3.55 is a good dual purpose gear. Depending on how much power you are making I would stick with that or step to a 3.27, 3.31 if you are making 450+hp. A 3.55 is probably as low as I would go personally

Built aod and a cheap dss block with a main girdle I don't expect it to last for long but should be fun. What do you guys think about a 3.27?

With an aod and stock block? Hope you have a better block

Agree with this guy. If your making 600+HP out of a stock block 302. That thing is likely to split after a handful of full throttle pulls. I hope it doesn't on you. But nobody else on this planet has seemed to have better luck.

I'm no turbo expert but I would suggest a 3.31 or 3.27 for a 1/4 mile application.

i got the 3.31 in still, but everyone down here in my class of car is tr yen to run 1/8th mile it seems. may have to switch it up to a 4.10 mid season and start running the 1/8th. Damn nitrous guys.
