79-93 Mustang Lower Core Support

That's your best bet. ALL these things are nasty when they come in here. Bent, rusty etc...

79-89 supports and 90-93 supports are different. The bumper shocks are bolted in different...but the bottoms should be the same if your just gonna cut it in half.

Do you work at a yard? If so, I may need to cut out a shock tower.

Also, 50resto offers both core supports in the catalog. Call them up to see if they have the one you need in stock.

Yes, I work at a salvage yard. What year is the car and which side? I'll check to see if we have something good. Where exactly would it need to be cut? Reason I ask, is because we cut and pull parts here. We've never allowed customers to do it, for insurance reasons.

Its an 87, and I need the lower part, from the rail like 8" up from there, just the side that faces the motor. I was going to cut the whole thing out so I would have enough to replace anything I couldn't see. The rail itself is still good as well.

The crash aprons? From the lower rail up to where the fender bolts up, and from the front of the shock tower to the core support. I know I have a cut already made right now from a 92 that has right and left crash aprons. Those are hard to find. I sold the cut to a guy who only used a peice of the core support, but I charged him a core so I'd get the rest of the stuff back.

Ok. Here is the problem.

The re pop stuff upto 89 like what you found does not come with the side pieces at the bottom. They DO NOT make them re pop either.

I have a re pop core support and OEM lower pieces for my white car. Thanks Jim (Hangemhigh)!

I agree as mentioned before it is hard to find them off a car to cut off because people jack and tow off them...:(

Do you have to have the factory piece? Why not cut it off and have some CM bent and welded on. Weld some tabs for the rad and your done.
