78-88's were. im not all up to day on the other yrs. g bodys only got a piece of C-channel that tie the front and rear from together and its real flimsy, but i boxed it and and it dont flex no where near what it did. i could see the chassy twist just by sttin on the corner of the rear bumper before.
 
I saw somewhere where they bent some tubing to follow the frame contour, then cut it lengthwise down the middle so they could weld half on each side to reinforce the frame.

yea the cage will tie it all in but there is a major week point in that corner dude. y did u POR it if the bracing isnt done yet? it atleast thro same triangles peices in that corner or something
