We got a ton of work to do if were going to have the thing rolling by woodward... We should be able to reach that goal as long as we done have an major suprises
All I can say is I will probibly be on a first name basis with the ups guy here pretty soon lol

Yeah the car has been in the family since new... My dad bought it off his sister (original owner) who passed away a few years ago, so this car has a special senimental value to him...
Hes been trying to restore it for a few years now but just hasn't had the resources...
I finally decided to ditch the idea of doing my own project for right now and help with the cause... He's getting older and I want him to be able to enjoy the car as long as possible...

But as far as engine mods go its going to relatively minor. Obviously its gonna be freshend up and looking all pretty with some chrome, but aside from that just a mild cam, a 4 barral carb, ceramic coated headers with straight pipes leading back to 40 series flowmasters

made some progress... at this point everything looks like its moving so slow.. but thats the fun of building an old grease covered car.

So most of everything done has just been getting everything back to bare metal so we can then start to get everything ready for paint

but heres some pics of where it sits today... doesnt look like much different then the first round of pics but believe this thing was dirty!
