Hosed the new cruiser off today and snapped a few pics. Excited to log some miles on it, but have a few things I want to go through / sort out first. This is also why the Lincoln is up for sale - this car actually runs and drives. Someone buy it, because I can barely walk in the garage now.

This season, the plan is wide whites and some maintenance items.

Next year, I'm thinking air bags and a respray of the original color. There are two things I'm on the fence on though, 1) I actually dig the patina on it. And 2) I can't find a reliable air bag kit that is complete bolt-on. I'm not going to make any cuts on the car.

I have a sneaking suspicion I'll want to keep it original after logging some miles on it, but I bought the car to bag on wide whites. Decisions, decisions.....

Awesome ride, can't wait to see it rolling. Going with just white or the white/gold striped sidewalls with 100 spoke wire wheels?

Thanks, everyone.

I'm planning on rocking out the stock hubcaps on wide whites. The tires I'm looking at picking up are Coker American Classics with a 3.125" white wall.

The car has sat for awhile, so I'm hoping to get the tank dropped / cleaned and it looks like I'm going to need to have the radiator gone through. The car only has 18K miles on it, so it's awfully clean and solid for its age. Hoping to get the few maintenance items cleared up, then rock it out.

I've seen a few old school Caddy's down south on CL priced kind of cheap.. where did you find yours?
And man, i'd hate to fill that gas tank lol

I was looking primarily out of state and stumbled upon this one on CL. It was up in New Haven, so I rolled out there last weekend and bought it on the spot.

I need to get the Lincoln sold (and out of the garage), so I can go through the caddy and make sure everything's as solid as it seems.

It's a low mileage car that runs and drives in its current state. Paint is a little rough, but it should make a good family cruiser.

As for price, these are all over the board. 'Verts catch the big money, coupes, then sedans. I wanted a 4-door. Also, there was a 4-window 4 door and a 6-window 4 door of this era. The 4-window is rarer and fetches more money. With that said, I have the least desirable of the bunch, but it's exactly what I wanted. I'm a sedan guy and it'll be way easier with the growing family.
