6 point cage ?'s

Good deal guys. Now 1Badair, it's not the bend that makes it not meet criteria right? I'm not seeing anything stating that it can't have that bend, it must be where it crosses you while seated?

I'll know more once I really start the fitting I guess. Maybe I'll just require some "practice" lol

Thanks

Taking these pictures I realize how scuffed up my bars are. I gotta put on some pads this year anyway.

Yea, the shot of the yellow one looks much more like mine will end up being. We'll see what I come up with. Thanks for the pics!

Dean,

I just noticed the link you posted, those covers are only 24" long, you might want to measure to make sure that is enough. Mine are 30" each and I remember I bought a 5' piece (60") and had them cut the tube so I had two 30" pieces. I had them cut them so I did not end up with any frayed edges.

Good luck.

They are not decals, they were real carbon fiber pieces, so they backs are "unfinished". They "clip" down over the bar and I used some 2-way tape to hold them in place.

Holy crap out of town for a month and 36 replying on it. I'm still looking into cage options but my wife will be getting in and out so I'm still on the fence about what to do.

My wife is no Minni, and she got in and out of my Fox body with a cage no real problems, even while pregnant.

3M makes a thick vinyl wrap called Di-Noc. You could wrap it on bent bars if you wanted, and its pretty cheap
