5 Point install questions

Hello all on the Thundersnow day!

I have a set of G-Force 5 point cam lock harness. I want to put them in the car this winter, but I don't have a cage in the car. I was thinking of taking the shoulder belt and going up and over the seat to the floor. I wanted to see what your guys input was on this?

If you are suggesting what I'm envisioning in my head, that is a big no-no. For legality it needs to attach level with shoulders to 4" below the shoulders.

I wouldn't bother with that unless it has a roll bar in it. Guess I'm just getting old and prefer stock belts. I'm guessing you probably just have lap belts and want the upgraded protection that 5 points provide?

This is a bad idea. In a crash the belts will pull down and crush your spine.
