5.3 water pump/alternator bracket???

im swaping a 5.3 into a fox body and put a ls6 intake on it but have run into a snag, the throttle body is hitting the neck of the water pump coming from the top of the pump and wont go on all the way. will a different ls water pump work on the motor or is there a special way it has to be set up. also looking for an alternator bracket or another way to mount that as well. any ideas or help would be much appriciated thanks

I think the corvette water pump is what your lookin for,on my Capri I used the truck alt bracket and cut the bottom off and layed it over towards the driver fender and cut off one of the bolt holes and re welded it where it fit in place.sorry for the piss poor discription lol
 
look for a fbody water pump and alternator bracket, you will also want the fbody harmonic dampener to keep all your pullys lined up

Use a 2006+ truck water pump, the water outlet pipe is in a slightly different location and should give you enough room for the tb... then route the belt differently. There are options for that.
