5.0L - Fuel pressure setting

Messed around with my car, bolt-ons. Ever since I installed Lt's it seemed almost doggy from 5k-5.8k in 3rd, and 4th, hasn't changed to much mph in the 1/4 yet.
Fuel pressure was at 45Psi, vacuum line off. I lowered it to 41-40.5 at idle, gauge is foggy. Felt strong through 1st, doesn't smell pig rich anymore. I'm thinking either tonight or tomorrow I'll have her down to 38ish at idle.

Basically my car idle's better now, starts up quicker. I honestly have no clue where my timing is at. I'm sure its set to be pretty safe ..
Do these numbers seem ok?? 38psi at idle??
 
THe stock regulator 38psi at idle with the line off...At least I am pretty sure it is, but should be easy to confirm....
 
I run 39 psi with the vac line off at idle.. I kind of go threw a check point when setting a 5.0's idle though... I set my timing first, then set my fuel pressure, Set my idle, then double check the voltage output on my tps.. I always have good luck with 39 psi and .98 tps at idle on a N/A car..
