A/C system taken off 1991 convertible from florida, was converted to R134a. no need for it now. Everything in good condition. Condenser has some bent fins but does not effect operation.

Comes with the following:
- Compressor bracket
- Compressor
- Compressor line to accumulator
- Accumulator with the bracket to hold it
- Condenser
- Condenser line to compressor
- wire harness plug to compressor

$50 for all, must take all

(Basically comes with everything except the evaporator inside the dash.)

Here is a pic of the system on the car:

I didn't convert it, when I got the car there was a dealer sticker under the hood saying that it was converted to R134a. The shop was in florida. I don't remember exactly what it says but I could probably go look at it later on and let you know exactly what it says.

Man I forgot to look at that sticker yesterday. I will go check it out today, I'll set a reminder or something. BTW, I am by the Palace of Auburn hills. Can I ask though, Why does it matter to you if it is R12 converted to R134a or if its a R134a system? To me, it looks like ford factory 1991 equipment which was R12 and to convert you just drain and then put in some R134a oil and refrigerant. It's been a few years but isn't that how you convert it? Anyway, I can find out for sure what it says if it matters that much.

from what i've heard its a lil more involved then that otherwise i would do it to mine ......maybe i should do some deeper investigating:dry:

I'll take it if Sky doesn't need it. It's for my Cuz :)

from what he is saying all i need to do is drain and refill mine with r134 if that be the case its all your bro but i would like to do alil recon on this

my car was converted before I bought it. It had an o-ring leak and after I replaced the 0-ring I just recharged it with a couple of cans of 134. works fine.

From what I can tell, it only has the adapter fittings on it form the conversion. And I know there is a company that makes a prep can of oil + stuff that conversts the existing oil to 134 friendly stuff. Then you just charge the system.

Its not the BEST way, but it works for what I do with the car. If it was summer driven in Az or somehting it might be a problem, but in MI = A-OK.

This time I will bow out and let pete hey it since i have a factory setup on my car already ..... mine works it just ran out last summer ..
