I'm pretty sure the Mach's and Marauder's in 2004 came with the 4R75W...

Looking for a 4.6 Modular one...

As far as I know, the 4r75 trans is a truck trans starting in 2nd half of 2004 in the F150.
Also, a '99 Mustang 4R70W comes 2 ways. 3.8L/SBF bellhousing bolt pattern or Modular bellhousing bolt pattern.

How much for the Truck Mod ones??? I think the diff is the Extension housing and the output shaft....I'm tearin it down to rebuild/add kwality parts in it...So, it might be worth it...

for easy id, the 5.0 uses a 2 bolt starter. 4.6 uses 3 bolt starter.
4r75w uses a unique sun shell that is non ferrous, and a input sensor that picks up the speed of the input drum through the sun shell. unsure of the compatibility of a 4r75w vs a 4r70w. I'm sure you would not be able to swap the two out without changes.
both units have two output lengths, that vary about 3/4 to 1" and is not very noticeable to the naked eye.
