4L80E Help needed

I have a 93 Chevy 2 WD truck with a 4L80E in it will a 96 4L80E fit.? Anybody?:icon_hamm

I think the plugs are differnt,im sure detroit gearbox will chime in he helped me out on a similar situation

IIRC 92 to current is all the same except for the bellhousing for the "LS" type engine That has the different bolt pattern (well missing the one bolt hole).

If it is off the same type of engine than they should work.

The plugs are all different variable by year.

It will fit, as long as neither unit has a brake drum on the back of it.
Torque Converters are different for cubic inch/gas/diesel
Internal wire harness is different/ you should be using a updated one anyways/somewhat easy to install, just time consuming.
1996 the casting/epc is upgraded over the 93
