I had my 4l60e completely built. anything from hardened shafts, beast sunshell. perfomance clutches..before i had the car tuned at vector it shifted fine. but after the tune it short shifts when i go from a dead dig in drive. but then if i try to shift it manually most of the time it will bounce off the rev limiter even if i shift way before im supposed to and it wont shift untill i let off the gas. does anyone have any idea why it does this.. i have taken the car back atleast 3 times and it still has the same problem. and i also took the trans back to the guy that rebuilt it and he checked it all over again and everything was fine. if anyone can help me or knows someone that can help me can i have their number. thank you
 
Sounds like some conflicting shift able settings. Most likely the file is corrupted or the upshift and down shift speeds are set wrong.

I can fix this problem for you if the clutchs have not been glazed up yet.

hmm alright.. i need to find a trailer and bring it out there one of these days. i took the insurance off of it for the year. what kind of prices would i be looking at?
 
If you want the thing fully redone $450. If I just need to make some shift adjustments $150. I would bet it could be corrupted. I have also seen issues with the 97-98 shfting strategy and sometimes the PCM's are flaky peices of junk.
