4L60E Questions

700r4/4l60/4l60e all use the same plantarys...all the same ratio gear reduction.
the 4l60es are not very interchangeable. different input shaft splines, output lengths, pwm/non pwm, woven clutch converter, carbon clutch conv,
ec3-non ec3, mix stall speeds and throw ecm codes......keep what you have.

Install a mild stall convertor might help if you have adecent cam. If you have a v8 you can install a convertor from a s10 v6 pick-up. It might help.

be careful making this change, depending on the year, some vehicles have system that allows a slight amount of slippage of the tcc apply. installing the wrong type of converter can destroy the converter clutch.
on another note, if you change axle raitos you will need to reflash the ecm.
