460 BBF EFI to Carb questions

I aquired a rebuilt 1979 460 that has been bored .030 over with a 3/4 lift cam, Heads have been worked and port matched. The vehicle it came in was EFI and I have the complete setup, but for my application I want to go carbed with it. What will I need to complete this task? And what size carb would be recommended? The engine is going in a 1980 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive P/U.

well right now the truck is carbed and I didn't really want to fuck around with all the sensors and shit that go along with an EFI. I also like the old school carb set up no computers to fuck with simple couple wire hook up.
educate me on what it would take to hook up EFI LOL

If thats a efi 460 then it has the intake/exhaust ports in higher location than the earlier carbed 460's so a regular 4bbl intake will not bolt on. There are some companies making an adapter to use with the efi intake. heres a link to 460ford.com about the same question.search there for more info.

you'll also need to change distributor. I would look around a 650-750cfm carb.
