alright ive been thinkin for a while about puttin one of theses beastly motors into my vic. but i gotta figure out what kinds of parts to put behind it. could i mod the stock AOD and use the 8.8" with maybe 3.55 or 3.73 gears? im figuring between 500 and 550 hp. id really like the luxury of an overdrive gear cuz i do use it for cruisin a lot but its rarely at highway speeds. ill be driving it fairly often and would like to get around 10 mpg. maybe some ideas to build a motor too?? any ideas really would be great. thanks!
 
i had been thinkin about gettin a c4. they seem like good trannies and they get some good handling. ill look into those though
 
I have an AOD. Cheep if you want it. I would build it. But was a good trans,. It has the long tail shaft housing. I mean cheep make offer. Need it gone.
 
I have an aod in it right now but thanks for the offer ill keep that in mind if I do decide I need a new one
 
yeah i was thinkin id have that kinda power i wanna save the stick for a mustang. its more of a project to laugh at and have fun with than to race and try to win.
