4 wheeler help no start

My Daughters Mini BMX 70cc will not start.

Ran great all last year. Been sitting for about 6 months and now it won't start.

Pulled the plug out and cleaned it off it looked fine. Sprayed some ether in it and it trys to almost start but as soon as the ether burns off it's done. Seems like it's not getting any fuel for some reason? I don't think getting a new plug will do anything because it seems like it's not getting fuel?

Any help?
 
Sometimes the float will develop a pinhole and fill with fuel-cutting off the supply to the carb, can you remove the fuel bowl?
 
Pulled the carb out, took it apart, cleaned her up, put it back together and it fired up on the first try :)

You know it's amazing when there are 18 bolts to pull out to take the plastic off to get to a carb that is held on by two bolts :lol:
