4-7 SWAP?

a couple horse on a mild build, not really worth it on anything other then an all out race build

Why do you say not worth it? Does a swapped cam cost way more? If you're getting ready to build a new motor or if you're going to change your cam anyway it costs little to do the swap.

Now if your changing the cam just for the swap then it's not a cost effective way to make hp.

ok that's what I wanted to know if it was worth pulling my cam out. If it is going to make single numbers than I can change a gear and feel that. Thanks guys.

i think u should try it and let us know what u come up with. your definately not ganna loose anything by doin it so might as well......

I have a old school torker on there now that's low profile, but I also have a big dart single plane up in my attic somewhere that I was going to put on but I will have to get a cowel hood and i don't have the cash for that.

If you change to the ls1 firing order it is easier on the crankshaft and makes the motor smoother.

LS1.....I never heard anyone doing that before, I am not going to get fancy...I am going to stick to basic stuff that works till I get my car figured out. I have a big learning experience ahead of me as soon as I get my car done. But thanks fot the input guys I rep'd ya too.
