What years interchange for the 4.6L that would be found in the 2002 Ford Explorer?
Will a 2006 4.6L be the same as a 2002 4.6L? What might I need to change and whats involved with those changes? Anything to watch out for other than the oil leaks from the head to block?
I believe that Ford went to a 3 valve engine in the Explorer in 2006. 2005 and earlier had a 2 valve engine. I am not sure what would have to be changed to convert, but I assume it would not be that easy.
