4.6 stroker in my Mach1

another update: 735 RWHP/ 585rtq at 6700rpm and 18pds of boost. AND STILL CLIMBING....Jeff had to let it cool down at this point from heat soat so he will make a few more pulls up into the 7300-7500 rpms...mid 800's with more RPM and 4-5 more pds of boost....which should be right where we thought.

quick update:
Spoke with Jeff and went over a few things...the 735/585 was at 12 degrees timing with a lot of room to play with (he said he is tuning VERY VERY safe to start with and will work up from there. He is going to do a 3 tunes for me on my handheld and will shoot this weekend for all out max effort. Everything he said has looked really good. At 6700 rpms he thinks we have another 700-800 rpms to play with and 80-100 more hp to come out of it...maybe more.
Will touch base with him after this weekend...

That car is going to be retarded with a stick on the street. Congrats on the climbing numbers.

I am pretty happy with everything so far. i know even once I get it back I will still have a lot of dialing in to get it right. Lots of testing the suspension will have to be done.

Just read over this whole thread, the numbers you posted now are impressive, and you are saying there is still more to come. Going to be quite the ride down the 1/4 and on the streets

car is DONE...pick it up saturday.
final numbers 785hp/605twq...BTW.intercooler is to small  ambient temps to high for my blower and maxing it out and not cooling things down enough.
Once it got to 7250 rpms horsepower wasnt moving up any more so we left it there. Timing set at 16 degrees total timing and didnt see a point to pushing it further with temps rising. With my pulley combo (45 upper and 80 lower) we maxed out at 20pds and that was it.

NOW it is time for some racing!!!!!!!!

Hell yes! Those are good numbers. What is the weight of the car again? You dare to predict an ET? I'll guess MPH at 160 just pulling a number out my ass. I'm excited for you. Gonna be fun.

For your first pass just vow to yourself to take it real easy, a nice get to know you pass, granny shifting each gear. Then when you see the first amber all that will go out the window and it's hammer down and balls out, ripping gears like you hate it! LOL. At least that's how it usually goes.

When is the christening?

last time I weighed it was at Martin and with me in it...3125. I think EVENTUALLY i would like a 9 sec run BUT I am sure it will take me a few (more than a few) runs. THIS is the fastest car I have ever had. low 11's is what Iam used to so this is going to be...well very different.
I have about 300 runs in my car and I remember that exact same VOW with my first procharger p1 setup and blew that right out the window but running an 11.30...lol
THIS will be a different animal so I will FORCE myself to take it easy.

Well....I need to square up the alignment (back and front)...and check everything over before I make it out on the streets and track

Dom, thanks for bringing the car by today, it looks awesome and sounds even better ! I wish for the best for you this weekend, b safe and hammer that bitch ! :)

Dom sorry I was with a customer when you stopped by. Although I caught a glimse of some bad ass looking DSG Mach 1 that sounded like the devil himself.
