I was looking to buy either a 3rd gen camaro or a 85 Mustang GT. Is there anything I should watch out for with these cars?

well I plan on using it for a daily driver for now but maybe put a cheap V-8 in the camaro. I think the camaro has a 305 or 307 stock i believe so i may try to do something with that.
As for the Mustang, I found a 85 Mustang GT. It has the stock 5.0 so I really don't want to mess with that. But this car needs a paint job it is kinda sunbeat. But who cares about that it classic Detroit muscle.

3rd gens? Watch out for rusted floors. Especially in t-top cars. Also if the front end has been hit before the ductwork going to the throttle body on tpi cars will be out of line.
Mustangs? Check both frame rails in the engine compartment for rust and DO NOT buy a car with a factory sunroof. They ALL rust eventually and the right way to fix it is a new roof skin.
