The third annual AdvoKate Run takes place August 1st, 2009 - 10k Run, 5k Run, 5k Walk and 1 mile fun run/walk. 10k and 5k runs are chip timed. Participate, run, walk, play, enjoy!
Register for this unique fitness event which includes special post-run activities for kids, music and fun for the whole family! All proceeds support pediatric brain cancer research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of 6-year-old Kate Hrischuk, of Rochester, who lost her battle with intrinsic brain stem glioma in early 2007.
AdvoKate is a non-profit organization founded by Kate's parents whom have taken on the mission to raise awareness about the issue of limited available research on the disease that took their daughter's life.
