Once more, seeing if anybody wants my 393 short block. i'd love to see this move and be put to good use rather than watch it rot in my garage.
specs are:
stock block from an '84 F-250, stock main caps, .030 overbore, new plugs and bearings, stroker clearanced
393 cubic inches
Probe main girdle
SCAT cast crankshaft, 3.85" stroke, small chevy rod journals
SCAT forged H-beam connecting rods, forget the length
Probe flat top (-4cc) forged pistons, 11:1 compression with small chamber heads
Perfect Circle plasma-moly rings
Pete Jackson 'quiet' gear drive
Comp cams *big* hydraulic roller cam ground for 3.73 gears and manual trans
new factory lifters and hold downs.
refreshed factory timing cover
ARP main, head, and oil pan studs
i know it needs to be torn down to check for surface rust and such things, since i had no choice but to store it in a bag in my garage on a stand.
looking to get 1500 dollars but willing to negotiate a bit. have over 2 large into this block.
willing to separate the cam if necessary, but prefer to sell it as a complete unit.
