351w

will my intake and trick flow heads off a 302 fit a 351w block?????thanks gary

If the heads have 1/2" head bolt holes they will fit the 351W. I'm sure yours probably do if they are TF's. Most aftermarket SBF heads have 1/2" head bolt holes. 302 intake won't work on a 351W.

Alot of the earlier and some of the later TF heads have a pressed in hat washer for the 302 stuff. I can't recall which heads they were in but they did use them. The bolt hole was 1/2 though and the hat washer closed up the gap on the 7/16 studs. The easy fix is to knock out the hat washers and use a regular Washer that would come with a stud or bolt kit.

x2

and if that is a aftermarket intake, you should just be able to buy a 351w lower intake for it, and reuse your upper

The car is carb'd,it has a vic jr intake, can i use my cam and lifter set up in the 351w???

cam and lifter yes as long as the crank uses the same firing order as the cam. Yes the cranks can be different between the 302 and the 351w for firing order. If it is a ho302 cam your fine.

The intake however won't work.

and reason being you can't use the 302 intake on the windosr is due to the fact of the blocks deck height just sayin... I believe in the newer ford racing/motorsport catalogs they have some tech articles on doing the cam firing order swap I believe they recommend the part numbers you need to use if you are using motorsport parts
