I good friend of mine at work bought a 66 chevelle off ebay it was supposed to have a new 383 stroker motor in it.well after taking 5 weeks to get it from florida he starts looking at this motor and there jb weld on the heads where someone drilled a hole in the water port there's four different bolts holding the water pump on one being metric which fucked the hole up.so he takes the motor out and all apart. Its a 350 block four bolt main sixty over with a 327 large journal crank and rods with 12.1 comp pistons so it sounded good when running. The block is fucked 4 out of 8 cylinders are are rusted and pitted like the bare block was sitting in a pond out behind someones barn for 50 years. Anyways I feel bad for the guy so im trying to find him a new block just so he can put it together and drive it before winter so any cheap blocks please let me know 60 over would be even better.
